Our most complete party experience, packed with activities and especially recommended for larger celebrations.
Includes: Coronation with rhinestone tiara, singing performances, dancing games, parachute play, crafts, story time, happy birthday song, and glitter tattoos or nail painting for up to 20 children.

1.5 Hour Party

A full party experience with plenty of time for music, games, crafts, and special heart-to-heart moments.

Additional Performers and Services
If you are expecting more than 20 children, it is advised to add an additional character or party assistant. We cannot accommodate crafts for more than 25 children with one performer, or more than 35 with two. Glitter tattoos and nail painting can be time consuming – please assume 2-3 minutes per child.
Additional performer: +$250 for 2 hours, $200 for 1.5 hours, $175 for 1 hour, $145 for 45 minutes, and $120 for 30 minutes
Mascot appearance: +$250/hour
Professional photographer (including edited digital images): +$200/hour *Highly recommended!
Professional face painter or balloon artist: +$175 for 1 hour, or $150/hour for 1.5 hr or more (ex: $250 for 2 hours). Artists paint approximately 15 children/hour.
Additional rhinestone birthday tiara: +$15/child
Party assistant: +$75/hour. Our entertainers are seasoned professionals and child educators that prefer not to have the additional coordination of an assistant. Due to this and to keep costs down, we do not include assistants in the standard party package, and they are simply recommended for parties of 20 or more without an additional character.

Frequently Asked Questions
We serve DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. We are able to provide entertainment within a 50-mile radius of the zip code 22312 (Alexandria, VA), and a 30-mile radius for visits less than 1 hour in length. If you’re worried about distance, give us a call (301-848-9935)! Certain exceptions may be made with pre-approval and additional compensation for time and gas.
To make the most of your character visit, we suggest scheduling entertainment to arrive about 30 minutes to an hour after your event start time. Hopefully by then all guests will have arrived and begun to settle in, so your character’s grand entrance can make a big splash and they can get started with performances and activities right away. For birthdays, singing happy birthday and cutting the cake make for a great send-off moment, so if that works for the flow of your party our performers will try to plan their exit there.
That is usually a good idea! Our performers are capable and familiar with handling crowds, but additional characters can help make things more fun and engaging for a big group. If you are expecting more than 20 children, we recommend adding a second. Please also note that we can only provide crafts for up to 25 kids with one performer, or 35 with two, and activities like glitter tattoos or nail painting can take a quite a while for only one performer attending a long line of guests.

Nope! Our performers arrive in full costume, with all of the materials they need for the party on their person. They will call you when they arrive to arrange exactly where and how you would like them to enter. If where to park is unclear, they may need direction (all bookings require on-site parking availability). Water during their visit along with gratuity at the end are never expected, but always very much appreciated.
We just need an open area big enough for all little guests to move around freely with the performer, and ideally to open and shake around a midsize play parachute. Our more high-energy characters, like the K-Pop trio, along with our physically larger mascot characters may need some additional room.
Before they leave, your performer will touch base with you to make sure the remaining balance has been paid, and that you do not need anything else from them. This balance (along with any optional gratuity) can be paid in cash or secure electronic payment directly to the performer, or paid in full ahead of time via prior arrangement with Princess Parties of DC. Once the balance is taken care of, we are all set!

We would love to hear from you as soon as possible! We encourage you to fill out the booking form right away to the best of your ability, and always feel free to contact us at 301-848-9935 with any questions or new information. We will send you details and arrange payment after that form is complete, and your reservation is not secured until you have paid the initial deposit.
One week’s notice is ideal, and we request that you book at the very least 24 hours in advance. We can make no guarantees about last minute bookings, but will do our best to accommodate. Please reach out to 301-848-9935 directly with any and all urgent questions.
Please notify us as soon as possible by emailing any changes to princesspartiesdc@gmail.com. We will respond by editing your booking form, which confirms the change has been agreed upon and added to the calendar. If you don’t receive confirmation, please do not assume the change has been made – if ever in doubt, please call 301-848-9935 to speak with us directly. A $25 fee will apply to any time, date, or location changes made within 4 days of the event. We will try to accommodate, but cannot guarantee any changes will be accepted day-of.
